Little Things Mean ALOT

Woweeeee..

Things have completly changed for me.. not only have i moved house but i have moved into the city of the man (aka - Manchester) The fact i can roll out of bed in a morning and go to CUP is ideal, let just say the coffee is truly wonderful. and the fact a can walk home and "nip" into a cocktail bar is even better. Dont get me wrong, Hebden Bridge is wonderful and the people are amazing... but i was just craving the citylife. Lets just say i have best of both worlds, work in a quaint town and home is a manic city. My flat is uber cute too. Gonna take some pics soon and show y'all.

Soooo tis the time to be jolly huh? The shop has been so busy and we have some really fantastic stock in at the moment.. which includes a 1950s parisian velvet dress. I would keep it but its that little bit too big. its perfect for a chirstmas party or even NY. Also some GORGEOUS 1940s shoes and tweed jackets. oolala! Tres Chic..

Yesterday I met me when im 50. Hyper as hell woman who was just as speedy as me... we could fit a word in. She was my height, had white hair and dressed quite.... like me! She also yapped on and on and on about being different. my gosh! maybe im going to become loopier....... eeek

so last week on a rather rainy wednesday evening i went along to a "Business womens ONLY party" i went along in my best dress expecting it to be rather dapper but to my suprise it was very relaxing. i was sat their up straight... not being able to breathe!
Now then, on the invitation it read. 'christmas readings also" Im thinking a bunch of hippies reading some stories about jesus and mary.. but to my suprise, a rather eccentric lady called Amber-Rose was doing tarot readings! I have never had my cards read and i dont really have much belief in anything (including god, being re-born and afterlife...ect)

ha I sat down, nervous about the truth... and she started off on a good (but also bad) note saying a looked like i was 12... does this mean im child like? or i have good skin? who knows, only her. so she pulled out these cards which had 1987 on. I was born in 1987. the chances of that hey?

The first lot of cards had the devil in them... haha. As soon as she turned the cards over she gasped. "THE DEVIL, THE DEVIL" almost like she saw a dead body. She told me lots of things, that i already know like.... i still dont believe in it but hey im open to other peoples views and beliefs! Alot of the ladies said "why would i pay someone to tell me my problems when i try to ignore them anyway" which is totally understandable.

So thats it from me, Gonna go buy a small christmas tree now..

Quotes of the week;

"I have finally realized the people i get on with are crackheads coming off crack" Michele Rashman.

"So what do people do with this stuff once they buy it?" Beige looking Lady in the shop.

You describe Amber Rose as "eccentric". I'd use a stronger word.
